Ladies and Gentlemen, Andrez Bergen. (Can’t you hear the clapping? I can.)
1. Where the Wild Things Are (Maurice Sendak)
2. Ring (Koji Suzuki)
3. I Am Legend (Richard Matheson)
4. Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (Robert Louis Stevenson)
5. Let the Right One In (John Ajvide Lindqvist)
Being Australian, we didn’t really celebrate Halloween with much gusto when I was a kid — but watching American TV shows we were well and truly saturated with the concept and envied this national day to dress up and weird out. Luckily the Japanese are right into it, so I get my money’s worth these days, and I love sharing it with my six-year-old daughter. Besides, a little bit of horror fiction never goes astray.

Some great choices Andrez. I really enjoyed I am Legend and Let the right one in.
Excellent choices.
Thanks, mates. I Am Legend is a superb book, and I love what Lindqvist and Suzuki did… but Where the Wild Things Are remains #1 for me… 😉
Great choices, Andrez. Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is one of our faves as well.
Cheers. I never get sick of the Jekyll/Hyde concept.
