With the next holiday on deck, Alan Dale, author of the Dead Nations’ Army series, has put his teaser novella for the first book in the trilogy on sale for Fathers’ Day weekend.
The book, DNA: Code Flesh (Part I) went on sale on Thursday evening and will stay at $1.49 for the next two days through Sunday evening at 11:59 p.m.
Normally the price is $2.99, but the book is lowered in price for holidays to honor people at their best.
“We wanted to respect mothers and fathers with sales on their particular days so we began with Mothers’ Day,” Dale said. “We hope to have it down to $.99 permanently on July 4 when the full CODE FLESH novel comes out.”
Dale expects to publish the full novel of 280-pages through Smashwords on July 4 in “honor of the men and women who fought so hard to give us this great land. Too bad all they fought for is now in jeopardy.”
The author also said he would only change the publication date depending on a pending approach from publication houses. According to Dale, he has been approached by a handful of small presses about his trilogy. He is also preparing to begin a video propaganda series for the trilogy and may begin negotiations with an independent film company that has approached Dale regarding a potential production of the books written and planned.
“It could be interesting but a lot of talk is…a lot of talk,” Dale said. “I would prefer a ton of action and wee bits of talk.”
Buy it on Amazon: U.S. or U.K.
